Week ending November 10

Update from the Durham Township Administrator:

“From Tuesday, November 5, through Friday, November 22, weekdays, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, road closure is scheduled on Durham Road between Route 212 and County Line Road in Durham Township for milling and paving operations. During the closure, Durham Road motorists will be directed to use Route 212, Route 611 (Easton Road), and Coffeetown Road.”

It is not anticipated that the paving will actually take that long.  Also, we expect that one lane will remain open most of the time for those whose destination is the church.

We will recognize and honor our Veterans this coming Sunday, November 10 and offer a special prayer for them.
REMINDER:  The No-Bake Bake Sale is this coming Sunday, November 10.   We will collect money to contribute toward defraying the expenses for the Free Community Holiday Dinner, to be held on Saturday, December 7 at the Riegelsville Fire House.  Joe Hlavaty has Dinner Tickets, and Lois Altemose has special envelopes for your No-Bake Bake Sale contribution.  Please make any checks payable to “ELC of Durham” and also write your offering envelope number (if you know it) on the envelope
Upcoming Meeting Dates:
November’s WELCA meeting is Monday, November 11 at 11 AM.  Church Council meets Monday, 11/11, at 7 PM.
