Pastor’s Weekly Email Message – Week ending August 27, 2017

Summer is almost over!  But there is still a lot happening as we get ready for fall!

This Sunday, August 27 at 10 AM – Annual Backpack Blessing – Kids, bring your backpacks!  We’ll give you something to go with them.  Also, something for parents.

Next Sunday, September 3 at 10 AM – Labor Day Weekend – Recognition and celebration of everyone’s labor/work – Last Sunday of Summer Worship time.

Sunday, September 10  – Church fall officially begins – Rally Day – ELCA Day of Service – Picnic – and MORE!

9:00 AM        Christian Education – Spark for kids, small groups for adults

10:30 AM     Worship/Baptisms/New Members

Noon              Picnic and great fellowship

1:00 PM        Rise Against Hunger (volunteers work with 13 other                                                                      congregations to pack 30,000 meals)

Care-A-Lot Preschool will begin the second week of September.  There are still openings for 4-year-olds.  Call Linda Reinbold at 484-894-0585 to inquire about enrollment.
