Pastor’s Weekly Message – October 16, 2016

How often do you pray?  Do you ever get discouraged – feeling your prayers for healing, peace, anything – are not answered by God?  Well then, you will want to join us for worship this coming Sunday, October 16 at 10:30 AM.  Come and learn about steady, bold, persistent prayer and the difference prayer can make in your spiritual growth.

Can you bake to help raise funds for the Free Community Holiday Dinner to be held on December 3?  The first of two Bake Sales will take place this Sunday, October 16 at the Riegelsville Fire House.  Bring your baked goods to the Firehouse by 7:30 AM on Sunday morning.  Call Lois Altemose at 610-346-7241 if you have questions.

Soon, our AHUB (Advocates for the Homeless of Upper Bucks) will begin its winter season, which will last from November 15, 2016 through April 15, 2017.  The homeless men and women of our area will be invited in when the temperature or wind chill is 26 degrees or lower.  AHUB would welcome more volunteers for this ministry.  Hosts, drivers, overnight hosts, meal-providers, and more are needed.  Training is a must.  Training will be held on Sundays October 16 and 23 at the Masonic Lodge in Quakertown (on Broad St, the heart of downtown Quakertown.  Call me at 610-346-8314 with any questions.
