Meet Cathy Mueller
Cathy Mueller, along with her husband Chris and their son, Matthew and daughter, Samantha,
have been a part of the ELC of Durham church family for 18 years. Professionally, Cathy is the
Director of International Business Development for the NeoStrata Company, where she
manages 2 Skin Care brands with 40+ international partners covering 75 countries. During the
time at ELCD, Cathy has served on church council for several terms holding various leadership
potions including Council Secretary, Vice President and (current) President. Cathy has also
been involved in Christian Education, Mutual Ministry, Hospitality and Stewardship committees.
She looks forward to continuing to worship and serve at the ELC of Durham where we continue
to be the Church on the hill, lighting the way to God’s love.

Meet Elizabeth Roberts
Elizabeth Roberts, along with her husband Chris and their two sons, has been a part of the ELC of Durham community for over six years. Professionally, Elizabeth is a systems engineer at the MITRE Corporation, where she brings analytical precision and thoughtful collaboration to her work—skills that also serve her well on Church Council. As Council Secretary, Elizabeth plays a key role in maintaining clear communication and accurate documentation. She’s your go-to contact for questions about council records, meeting updates, and current initiatives. Elizabeth is passionate about keeping the congregation informed and connected, and she’s always happy to share what’s happening across our vibrant church community.
Meet Kathryn Wagner
Kat, her husband John, and their three children have been attending ELC of Durham for about three years. Kat is a graduate student at Liberty University Theological Seminary studying chaplaincy and is employed by the church as administrative assistant. On council, Kat is involved with the Christian Education committee. Kat can be contacted with questions about children’s programs, church scheduling, or is just happy to help point you in the right direction if you are not sure who to ask!
